J. Lloyd

Worship Pastor

Accepting Jesus Christ as savior in the 8th grade, "J." experienced a radical change in his life. Through mutual friends in youth group, he was introduced to his wife Amanda and the fairy tale began. J. and Amanda now have two children, Karaline (5) and Griffin (2) and live in the Southlands area.

J. began his venture into the music scene on the drums in 2000 starting a youth worship band with his two best friends. Playing on multiple worship teams and secular bands through the years, God began calling him into a deeper level of music ministry.

Feeling God's pull into worship ministry, J. began learning guitar in 2010 and started leading worship shortly there after. After gaining experience leading worship for youth groups and opportunities to lead for main church services, 2016 was the year where he would begin seeking out a worship pastor position.

J. join the Element Church staff as the Worship Pastor in April of 2016. God has blessed him with an amazing church family and a place where his whole family can call home.

When not preparing worship for Element Church or playing music, J. loves spending time with his family, fixing up his house, downhill mountain biking, playing golf and of course Denver Broncos football.
